Table of Shewbread « Back to Glossary IndexOne article of furniture in the Tabernacle was a table made of acacia wood. It was furnished with dishes, bowls, spoons and covers, all made of pure gold. Twelve cakes of bread made of fine flour, in two rows of six, called shewbread. They were removed every Sabbath and fresh bread supplied in their place.
